Experience exploring the Big Ocean outside the Port San Luis Jetty. This adventure focuses on finding the amazing humpback whales and other marine life that frequent the Central Coast ocean. We see dolphin, sea otters, sharks, harbor seals & sealions as well as a variety of birdlife.

We do not bill this experience as a ‘focused whale watching’ tour! Sometimes we do not have an abundance of humpback whales in our waters. Each year is different. If they are around, this would be our main focus however!

Enjoy time on the water exploring the abundant sea life and learn about the amazing history of Avila Beach and Port San Luis Harbor.

We will be treated to viewing sealife such as the endangered Southern Sea Otter, Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, and sometimes Whales and Dolphin. Lots of Pelicans, Cormorants, Oyster Catchers, and at times Osprey, Terns, Shearwaters and Herons.

Your adventure starts in Avila Beach and goes to Pismo Beach and everywhere in between.
